Seems I am following your steps there Joolz....
As you know my front Monroe GT's are stuffed and it looks like I'll
follow the Ultima path I'd say.

Joolz, I have been recommended the Ultima 36S001-2 front struts by
a suspension mob ($250 for the pair). They say these go well with the standard or "low"springs. I'm assuming that they may be OK with the King Lows I am running. (Mind you, Monroe said the same)

What sort of research did you dig up on a suitable Ultima product for
the low springs, as opposed to supers in the front end??
Shortened or regular?

I just asked the supplier in link i posted earlier about Ultima shortened shocks. I also had a mate that needed them for his EA and they were $150 and the ride was good. I didnt do much if any research on them but i basically needed shortened shocks and didnt want to spend $600+ I know others that have shortened shocks but different and more expensive brands will swear by them but im impressed with the Ultimas and the price was right.

Looks great Joolz, your running a very similar set up to what I will when i have the money. Have you had any trouble with the front scrubbing at all?

Thanks Adam, sorry but what you mean by scrubbing? tyres from wheel alignment? (no but getting it done this weekend after springs settle) Tyres dont scrub inside the guard if driving straight but tonight i did a sharp right and went down a dip in the road and inside tyre clipped the inside lip of the guard, will have to bend up the inner lip more to give more clearance but apart from that all good.
