Well it came in today and damn it looks sexy, well except for the ugly black shockers. One quick question, one of the shocks broke the strap the keeps it compressed, is that bad as i think it was transported that way, the front shocks compress easily and seem slow to 'uncompress'? Is this normal or should I take them back before I install them? Is there anyway to test them?
Anyways heres some pics Will do the rear maybe sometime this week and the front when I have a weekend free as i'm doing the rack aswell Ben |

wow....aren't you a lucky lad....=D have fun putting them in
Sorry but I can't help you with the shocks but I'm sure they aren't meant to be slow...not too fast or else your car would be floaty. One more thing....If you don't mind me asking...how much did that all cost you? phong =P~

thats normal for the shocks to rebound like that, they just package them like that to save space. even though they shouldnt be that easy to compress

Shouldn't be easy to compress. Slow decompression is normal. I would check the other and see if they do the same thing. if it is different then take it back.

they will get harder the more you compress them, (prime them ) you should do this before you assemble them, they are always quite soft the first couple of times you compress them |

Cool! Well they are kinda hard to compress need to stand over them and use two hands, my mind is much more at ease now, just don't want to rip the buggers out later if they're stuffed
Thanks guys Ben |

damn, that all looks nice. Is it hard to install yourself? How hard would it be to put into a BA? I have a feeling IRS would make things a pain.

stand the shocks up right and push them all the way down. wait for them to rise then do this again. after this point alays keep the shocks standing upright or you will just have to repeat this process again. mainly you do this with single acting oiled struts/shocks but its a good habit to get into with all shocks
