I had a mechanic redo the head on an old honda 750/4 yrs ago.
It came back hammerin' but with no 4th gear. The culprit was the remains of a 10mm tappet nut in its guts. |

It's like when I complained of a rattle after a service. Had to take it back anyways, so i told them. Picked up the car later in the day, they told me rattle was fixed... I didn't ask what it was etc.
Rattle came back.... so i got home and had a quick look, ended up some one had left their 1/2" extension bar in the engine bay, rattling towards the drive belts... was about 20mm away from the belt and getting closer when i found it |

hehe, I'm with jose, and my cars an example of it, haha.
I read in one form recently a guy got his cruiser back, with out the hub locker mechanism fitted, it seems it was a problem that had been bodgied in the past, so understandable the mechanic couldn't get it fitted, but he should've been contacted and told what was up, anyway through the thread, he suddenly makes a post look what I found it was the head of the jack bolted to the diff withe the shackles.
