It's hard to explain and damn hard to Google i have tried for hours. Here's the deal. When the car warms up it starts to change gears with high revs in between and then when it does go into gear you feel and hear a clunk in the diff, it gets worse as the temp rises to a point of where it would over heat if i did not monitor it or cool the engine down driving on the highway. When the car is cool she drives beautifully so i would love to get the resolved as i still love the car and i have spent "TOO" much money fixing it up.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. A note that i think is not important is that I have had a new engine put in for an AU but i do believe i still had the probs before the old engine died. Thank you Matt 1997 NL Fairlane 6Cyl Ghia Auto. |

Quite a while ago i believe. I tried to get it done but there was an issue with the sum plug. I really have a feeling the oil in there is crap as hell but i also think that won't explain the strange revs when changing gears when it gets warm.
