The steering rack and pinion moans and groans when the car is driven. The power steering pump has a noisy bearing but what is causing the noise when the car is driven. The steering is not as smooth as my previous NL Fairlane (now DL LTD). Theres no freeplay in the steering when driven, just that annoying noise.

sounds more like the power steering pump is rooted to me or could it be just low on fluid??
