i have an au 2 sedan an i fitted some pedders lowered coil springs to the rear, but it hasn't done stuff all to tha hieght. They were meant to drop it by 2''. Does any one know how to tell the difference between the stock and lowered springs? Should they be shorter? Should they have more coils or less? any help would be much appreciated. thanx![/list]

Usually they are shorter than stock but give them about 2 weeks to settle.

You gotta watch some of that Pedders stuff, it only works with the Pedders shockies/system. King Springs work on std shocks.

king springs are fine if you want it to ride like a busted a**. its worth spending the extra on the short shocks to go with them

yeah i will let give 'em some time to settle. Will it make any differnce with the front springs in, i have only fitted tha rears so far? I didn't realize they might not work with the std shocks.... to late now, ha ha..... They weren't much shorter than the stock ones but were a bit more softer with more coils, does that sound right? Does any one know roughly what i might be looking at per shock? Thanx for tha help so far!!!!1

If the springs were lows (XR height) the standard shocks will be ok but for more suspension travel shortened shocks are required. I have lows on my EL Fairmont Ghia with shortened shocks all round.
