It really does suck that age is the only thing you can be legally discriminated on. I think it should be fat people. Fat people should have trouble getting insurance, not under-25's. Damn this world and it's backwards ways...

yes agreed! no but seriously, we should all be judged individually, and not pay for the mistakes others have made, they should take a look at our record, see how many accidents we've had, see how long we've been driving, i mean, a 25 year old that just got his licence can walk in, and lease a car, where as a 19 year old with a year of experience gets knocked back, whos more likely to cause an accident?

Not having a go at anyone on the forums,

but why not make it mopre expensice for over 50's. they are old and senile and have no idea.

hey, if we are discriminating on the basis of age and not individual circumstances...

agreed again! if they can discriminate against us, then the same can be applied, because there are alot (not all) of people over the age of 50 that cant drive at all, so if we're going to generalize for the young, and state, no one under 25 can drive well enough, then we should generalize with over 50s and state, no one over 50 can drive well enough, therefore they should be paying the same amount as us per year, and gradually go from rating 1 to rating 6 as time goes by and as they get older!

I'd change insurance companies if I were you Nicco. You said the policy wasn't in your name? You were just nominated driver yeah? I'd either bite the bullet and get your own policy with Justcar or something similar, or get the person whos name the policy is in to enquire for you about modification.
