just put my tax return into the bank on friday night, driving back from rosebud saturday, and what happens? my brakes wear out! so my tax return will be paying for the new brake pads, the machined discs, and a much needed service :) wow! I LOVE KARMA!

yeah.... but not just like within a small time frame, they happened gradually, i just never had time off work to lose my car, nor did i have the money as i was paying it off, but the tax return came through, and i was going to get the car done this week with that when the chq cleared, but i guess the car couldnt wait 4 more days... doesnt matter, it'll get paid for either way, shouldnt be too much damage...

Suncorp

I rang them the other week, but because the policy is under my old boys name with me as a registered driver, they wont talk to me.

Yeah I thought that might have been the case mohekn. Would be some pretty hard driving to wear out the pads and discs on a single trip
Nicco, you gonna go for the 'works' kit?

yeah nar, i knew they were going to s**t when i picked my parents up from the airport, it was raining like hell, i had a full load of people, plus a boot full of lugage, and i could feel it on the brakes, that was a few weeks ago, so i knew they had to be fixed, just needed the money, but i had s**t to pay for, so it had to wait... and i guess the rosebud trip was the end of it lol

I just rang them once more then, and got some really helpful lad.

NNNOOOOOO

Bascially what he said was they cant give me a definate yes or no answer over the phone due to outside factors, but there is a 95% chance that they WONT reinsure it for me, and in the mean time the excess will inflate dramatically!!

I am heart broken, i have saved for this stuff for 4 months now and was ready to buy it at the end of the week.

Damn bastards, its cause i am 18 and have an exhaust...

its cause all the old people who write the policies, hire out the cars etc wish that they were 18 again, we have too much fun for them!! :P

"if i cant have fun, then you cant enjoy a car!!"
