Ever since I fitted the new mags, the rusted rotor hubs and calipers had been bugging me
 So this weekend I got busy and painted them up.  Not that noticable from a distance but makes a big difference up close. Here's a couple of pics  Also did the air box whilst I was at it.

Yeah, pretty rare that I get to spend a couple of days on the car. Besides going to my brothers bucks show last night, the rest of the weekend was spent on the car. Did the passenger side Saturday and the drivers side today. Good thing the bloody rain stayed away for a change that certainly helped.

i just got new rims the other week and wth the ruted hubs and calipers it looked s**t so i painted the calipers red and the hub black it looks heaps better now

I'd been looking for the right set and got talking to the seller on ebay. When I described what I was looking for, he sent me a couple of pic's of the Chrome Volts. I bought the first set 4 weeks prior to the official release date. They aren't even in the 08 Advanti catalogue yet. Very happy with them how much did yours set you back did u get them new

Do you have to use any special heath resistant paint? or will your average Dulux do? lol

from the first photo i thought you had painted the face of the disc as well!!

doddaea you need the caliper paint other wise it will peal of with heat

Definately better than coroded alloy and rusted iron.
I went all out on mine, I rebuilt the calipers, so while they were all clean, I painted them & baked them in the oven, now they look like they have been powder coated. Did the same with rotors too, painted them inside & out. I don't like rusty rotors.
