I have just got my pedal box from an EF and had been planning to strengthen it, but to my surprise it looks to be already done from factory. Should I add additional strengthening to it or will it never break?

I did some quick welding to make it stronger. That pin is not going anywhere now.

Ive seen several broken pedal boxes but in each case the pedal box only went after the firewall. In other words, clutch cable went, owner didnt change, extra load caused the firewall to tear, owner didnt fix, finally the pedal box went and the owner finally decided to do something about it.

That looks exactly the same as mine , it appears to be the way they were reinforced from factory.
