Just spent the day installing lows and welch plugs. Arn't those effing welch plugs fun, NOT.
Anyway the car looks a treat but havn't checked it on speed bumps yet as I can't get the car out the driveway. Have to make some ramps tomorrow Will also post some pics in the next couple of days. Glad that I only went lows as super lows would to low for this bloke. I would like to thank Brad for doing supplying the majority of the grunt and brains for today.

Out of interest was there much work in installing the springs? Can't wait to see those pics. Removal and reinstalling is resonably easy with the right euipment. The only speciality tool would be the spring compressors (must have to remove the original front springs) Points I did learn. If I had gone over the gregory's first, it would have been even easier Check the 2 pairs of springs. If one is slightly higher (both pairs of mine had a couple of mils difference) put it on the drivers side. If you have SLS, remember to remove the fuse. You get some funny sounds otherwise Expect it to be lower then you originally thought. We have a ramp now to get out of the driveway If you had a late night b4, do the rear first as they are easier. Then you can get your head into gear for the front (and then the welch plugs in my case). Changing the springs and shocks are a lot easier then changing the welch plugs under the exhaust. We needed the spring compressors for removing the original springs but didn't need them for the pedders lows. (need the some of the parts to reinstall) Supporting the axle and front arms with a jack made the job far easier. The 1st time you sit in the car after lowering, do it slowly as both I and my better half fell into the car. LOL Just think that your sitting in a mini instead and you find the right height easily A helping hand is usefull as always. (Thanx's again Brad) I would also like to thank xr8 dismantler for the excellent deal and service on the setup. Now to update all the rubbers in the front to Neothane (speeling ??)
