I have had pedders suspension on for about 3 months or so now, and i couldnt be happier.

I got prettymuch he same as you, springs, shocks, chamber kit, strut top, and labour. i paid $1050, so you could probally haggle a bit with them if you wanted.

I had a huge s**t with them when fordmods first started
Scott Pedder emailed me and 2 other mods asking about our complaints.
They are franchised so soem are good and some dont cut the mustard.
As has been said there stuff is rebranded
Ill even let you buy a vowel for free!!
M _ _ _ _ E

There was disgruntled franchise owner who made a whole smear site a few years back - was an interesting read!

Pedders from what i have heard is rebadged kings but to pedders specs. Apart from that they are a rip off and $1350 for parts and labour NO WAY!!! the partscost around $650-$750 that labour your getting charged for is super high. It takes around 2 hours to replace the front and rear springs with shocks. the camber/castor kit which is the same thing takes about 1 hour to replace and then wheel alignment. I changed all my springs, shocks and camber/castor kit including wheel alingment for just under $700. The springs were Dobinson, shocks are Monroe GT gas and Noltec camber/castor kit.

you's are right. pedders shocks are made by monroe. if u ask the right questions they dont keep this a secret. it's in the same understanding that there are only 3 picture tube manufacturers(sony, lg/phillips and teac) yet there are 100's of brands of tv. there are only a handful of shock absorber manufactuers in the world.

it doesnt mean it's the same product. as joolz said they are made to thier own spec. it's like going into a lunch bar, ordering a jam sandwich and a ham salad sandwich and saying they are both the same sandwich.

i worked for pedders about 13 years ago and still swear by the product. my apprentice back then has now bought the franchise we worked at and i still use it with full confidence. even back then the warranty percentage was pretty slim and if there was, the product was replaced no questions asked. the biggest issue we had was incorrect packing ie: std height springs packing in a lower height part number box.

pedders make thier own springs.

I was told they were manufactured by other companies such as KYB and Monroe but they have their own list of specifications for them. Hardly rebranded. I've used all three and they aren't the same.

CRT are mostly made by Samsung!! yes all correct on Monroe/Pedders shocks. I heard it from a bloke at Monroe even though he was reluctant to say. But dont forget that they are made to Pedders specs!!!! so they say!!!

ive had pedders springs and shocks for a few months now, very happy with them.

$1350 sounds pretty steep to me though, id be looking elsewhere.
