im heaps happy with how my car is launching off the mark lately so i thought i would share a pic :)

Image

3500rpm and drop the clutch, 215/65r14's on the back, bugger all wheel spin, 2.1 60ft time.

i am getting witness marks on the diff from the bumpstops hitting, but it only ever does it when launching, very rarely hits them while normal driving.

cheers guys,

best so far is a 14.966, although on wed night just gone i could only get a 15.125 out of her in hot and humid conditions, even my last run at 9.50pm it was still 25 deg and 80% humidity. but i did gain 1 mph on my top end speed.

the rear leaves actually have one extra leaf each side and are reset 2.5" lower with pedders comfort gas, it actually handles real well through the twisty stuff but for some reason it launchs well too.

as for the front wheel as much as i would like to say it is off the ground i think its just the angle of the pic, the front suspension is at full stretch though on the passenger side.

I believe drag suspension involves firming the rear end up, and softening the front end.
So makes sense with the extra leaf in the rear.

Nice work 8-)
