I usually go to ABC or salisbury wreckers. take your own tools and save on cost, there is always ford wreckers at capalaba otherwise if your after something in particular, try wreckers hotline.

This espcially applies to the self serve wreckers at wacol/oxley
$79 for an E-series Engine!!! (not a typo - $79!)
But I usually use Salisbury or GDM.

Mate, I've been to Park Ridge Wreckers a few times and they are bloody rip off merchants. Upper and lower control arms $120.00 from PRW..Wacol wreckers, same deal, take it off the car yourself, same as PRW but at $16.50 each part....big difference to $120.00 at PRW.

Sure PRW have a few Fords, but the price pees me off

cheers

Yeah I would like to revise my recommendation, they have become rip offs.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but which wreckers in Wacol are you referring too? ABC, Self-Serve Auto parts, etc.?

Wacol Wreckers on Boundary Road appear to be the best, problem is one has to be quick when fresh vehicles come in for parts, otherwise its been cannabolised if it's left too long.

Cheers

No worries Toquin,

I wish you well in chasing the parts you're after.

After a lot of struggle, I've got all the bits I need (plus many other goodies 8-) Probably more than I should have indulged in. Nevertheless they're mine now :P ) All I need is new window regs and I should be set.
Thanks for the help :)
