Hey YBHVE4, Steady ED has the look you want, but with your ghia rims instead of the black stockies.
Or get black stockies if u want. You could always tell people that your 'good rims' are at home and that you "never put them on for street racing and drifting?" Considering you mentioned having to save up for rims later on, this way you would never actually have to fork out for them and you'll still get cred points! Yeah baby, I know all the tricks! I remember one guy had an old fire extinguisher bottle painted light blue with a NOS sticker on it and a braided hose coming out of the nozzle. He didn't get too much cred for that one. Sorry, I'm rambling about the good ol dayz again aren't I? (I'm really just trying to increase my number of posts, but don't tell anyone) Did I just write that, or think it? D'oh, I wrote it! |

nice looking ride Steady ED. with the ultras on the rear wats ur ground clearence like and any tail shaft probs? cheers With the top one on stockies, ground clearance isn't toooo bad, its not as low as it looks. That pics cheating a bit cause it was loaded up for a snowboarding trip. Stockies were so I could put chains on The lovells ultras aren't real low, more king superlow height. No tailshaft probs, possibly because they've both got ED XR diffs and control arms, so pinion angle is different. Tailshaft hits floorpan in the sprint on hard shifts cause its manual, the king ultras are also a fair bit lower then the lovells. Ground clearance is pretty s**t, but you learn to drive around it(speedbumps = backseat passengers get the f**k out, then approach with angle ) Not low enough though, I think a portion of coil is gonna go missing... Definately king superlow fronts with king ultralow rears IMO.

King springs Super lows and Koni Adjustable shocks, fitten by Wholesale Suspension in Penrith, very happy with them, handles like it is on rails, but a bit bumpy at times on our crappy roads.... |

both nice looking ride heights.
Would super fronts and ultra rears with 15's make it illegal or cause any probs with tailshaft vibration or anything?

Hey mate, have a look at Southy's link for the spring/shock combo. May be just what you're looking for at a good price to do it properly.
If they're superlow Kings, you shouldn't have an issue with tailshaft vibe. As I stated earlier, my issue only began after lopping a little more off the rears only. Mine still looked O.K. with supers all round, I just have a little more urge to go low than the everyday person. That was my only reason for dropping a bit more. Trouble is, I didn't know how it would sit until after I fitted them. Darned if I'm then going to go and buy more springs to drop it another half inch. Wait on, here's a picture of it with the supers all round before I got the grinder out.

I think you have convinced me on supers all round now.
