hey all,

I want to buy some springs soon to stop my ghia feeling like im on a boat. Also want to drop it for handling and appearence.

As is I dont have money for new rims and not sure if I will do so in the future as I want a clean factory look.

Im currently running 15 EL Ghia rims and thinking of supers all round or super fronts and ultra rears.

So, if you can please help me with pics how your ride sits that would help me heaps.

cheers

here's XR springs = lows

the front is a nice height, but rear isnt
so you want at least supers in the rear, to get rid of the 4wd look

I have posted some shots over in the Exterior Mods forum.
Don't know whether this should be in Exterior Mods or Suspension/Driveline Mods forum. Oh well.
Cheers!

Here is an EA sedan on EL XR6 springs, with Pedders GSR shocks.
The tyres do fill the guards and are taller than original spec. Tyres on it now are 235/60R15's, OE spec is 205/65R15.

we put my old EF xr springs in the EB dad used to have. and personly i think it looked way better than an EB with superlows.

Is the height now legal? Im looking at getting some superlows and koni yellows in the next couple of weeks if I actually get some hours at work.

i've heard various different measurements quoted for legal height. the fact remains, it has passed through regency at this height. (was too low when i bought it). rear's are borderline though.

they quoted me 335mm hub to guard as legal height.

i also find it amusing how most people think there is only 3 spring sizes - low, superlow or ultralow. this is also not true. i went down to my local kings stockist and the catalogue had a range of sizes going up in 5-10mm increments.

Sitting very nice there lukey. Very nice.

The photos in your gallery look a little better (lower) because they're taken with your car on a flat even surface. The driveway shot makes the a** lift a little bit. Still looks mighty fine, sir.
