hey' i'll go take some photos of my car.
ive got dobininson superlows in the back of mine, but it also has the weight of a gas tank on it. theres only half a tank of gas, and no petrol. the fronts i havent gotten around to replacing, so i have a feeling they might be dodgy from the guy i bought it from. brb |

thats funny i have the same car with the kit and all but in green... so this is a perfect example.. and i will be having a gas tank in there shortly... that is a beautiful ride height... it looks like it sits nice even with the dodgy springs in the front! does the car/kit scrub on anything?

uumm, it catches the muffler occasionally on speed bumps, but not bad, just a light scrape.
the front bar has scraped underneith from the previous owner. the main thing is you have to get use to driving a car that low. other people who have driven my car manage to somehow bottom it out on everything and anything. if you drive slow enough, and approach with an angle on certain bumps, you should never have a problem. steep driveways can also cause problems.... apart from that, no problem. except for the other day... lol, i was on a dirt road, did a 3 point turn and drove the back wheels into a ditch in the road. the car was resting on the towbar and exhaust. couldnt get enough grip to go forward, so i had 4 mates lift the weight off the back and reversed as i dug a 2" deep scratch into the road for about a metre. how are the laws for lowed cars in NSW? as far as my front springs go, the car sits fairly well. little bit lower in the back, but only cause of the gas tank. |

Ahh speed humps! thats why i went Lows so you can actually put stuff in the boot without the a** dragging on the ground. Will be putting in Dobinson superlows for sure in the front next weekend but leaving lows in the rear along with Ultima shortened shocks all around with heavy duty in the rear.

i got whiteline lows but they are pretty damn low (look in gallery <--- ) and i can get over pretty much everything.
its funny cause i have a mate with a stocko height EF, and he has bottomed out on my driveway, and i can clear it!! |
