Has anyone fitted these gears to a falcon diff? I know it can be done i'm just wondering how it turned out? Did the diff break or is it still good? Is it really noisy etc. Cheers Joel

I've heard the same thing. Apparently the 3.73 diff gears from R31 skylines are interchangable with E-series falcons. Both run the same series Borg-Warner diffs I've been told.

They fit in but alot of people have trouble with them being noisy I believe.

if you setup the diff correctly (with appropriate backlash etc) they are fine 3.7, 3.9 and 4.11 will all fit assuming they are setup right. jaysen has 3.7's in his and it runs perfect.

I asked about shorter diff ratios for my EF, and the diff specialist said theres a bit more work involved fitting 3.7, 3.9's etc. than just fitting standard ratio's? Dont know why?
