Hey all, recently had a prang and replaced the watt's link, and rear left axle on my EL GLi (so thats no LSD) the diff is working fine and doing what it should be. However, when i tried to set it all up, ie put the brakes on etc. the rear right wheel doesn't spin freely coz the brakes seem to have seized up or something. Ive fitted new ferodo pads too. Also the brake failure light comes on whenever the brake pedal isnt depressed. Any ideas?

the bearing may be a bit sticky.
try putting some bricks behind the good wheel. jack up the questionable side and then with the car in neutral. spin it with your hand and see if it drags. usually the power will go mostly to the side with least friction with a free spinner. other than that, check the hand brake system
