The fluid level in my power steering has risen by it self and is making a whirring sound like they do when they are empty.
Can someone please tell me why this is happening???

Sounds like an internal problem there, a blockage of some sort. Is the steering heavier than it was?

Mate, sounds liek a blockage in the pressure valve. Thats behind the 1 inch nut on the rear of the pump where the high pressure line is.
When they are blocked with s**t, the HPL, can't suck out enough fluid. Also could be that the 1st or 2nd internal o-ring has s**t itself in the pump.(the pump is inside the canister you see that holds the fluid). This means that the pump could now be pumping fluid straight back into the cannister, instead of down the tubes for the HPL. Could be your rack, but I am very doubtful of that as you would not be able to see the fluid rising, as it would all stay inside the rack, or leak out. Is not ou pressure switch, as all thats there for is to tell the engine to bring up or slow down the RPM, depending on how much load(full lock) your putting on the wheel. Only there so you don't stall an auto and look like a d**k. My best bet would be my 3rd paragraph. If you can diagnose it to your pump, and even rack, I rebuild them. Might work out cheaper for yourself depending on what the postage would be. Worth a look lol . PM me if your after anything. Cheers
