seeing as i have recently destroyed one of my wheels (18in) and apparently no one can get them in for a month because they are out of stock, i need to put something else on. I have my stock 15's here, but the tread on 2 of them is non existant, therefore cant put them on all 4 wheels. Now my question is: is it legal to put 2 different size wheels on? I had a feeling that there was a limit to the size difference between front and rear wheels....

whack it on and if the coppers ask you about it, (which they proly wont) just tell them that your other one went flat

If you want to keep the cops off your a** put the stockers on the front otherwise it will look like you've been doing burnouts

^^yeah i dont wanna have to get new tyres for the stocko's though. Plus i get pulled over once or twice a week for a breath test (late night job, number plate that says age) so I don't wanna have one on the back cause i guarantee i will get the same officer atleast twice.

I was just wondering if there's a law saying what the legal difference in size is between front and back, cause i had a feeling it was 2in, and my mate has 2 16in burnout mags with tyres that i could borrow...and I really don't wanna get another fine :(

the 2" rule you are thinking of is proly the "what size you can go over factory" rule.

like i said, they wont ping you if 1 wheel (it is just one isnt it?) has a stocker on it. its a spare for f**k sake. people get flats all the time

even a new gt falcon or ss commodore come with a steely spare.
