Ok can anyone tell me the year/model that taxi spec rims came out as 16"x7".....??
Also ive heard the centre hub hole might be a different size to the e-series stockies, could anyone confirm or even measure a 16" AU/BA stockie they have lying around? I ask because im thinking about getting a 16"x7" set modified to the correct offset to suit e-series which will be cheaper than widening the 6" stockies i have atm |

they didnt come standard 16X7, they were 16X6.
There was a Commodore police spec 15X7 in place of the 15X6. I dont know if ford did a police spec 16X7.

im confused about this to, i went to buy an eb falcon and on the rear it had 16 " stokies from an au but no hub abdaptors
so my guess is if they were only 6" does that man the off set is not as big there for being able to fit an eseries

nah, even if they did fit it wouldnt look right at all. The stockies i have on now already sink into the guards too much as it is, so AU stockies would sink in another 30mm further.
16" stockies modified to an e-series offset would have a huge dish, im keen on doing it, but it depends on the size of the centre bore hole, which means more work & $$$$ |
