Hi guys
Im about to do brakes pads on the rear. Now, What do i use to push the piston back into the caliper, and second..... Can i push the piston back into the caliper while the fluid brake lines are off? or is that a no no? Cheers. |

What model is the car? If its EF/EL you can use a G clamp leaving the old pad on the piston as a plate for the G clamp to press against. Leave the brake lines on.

alright, i'm gonna have to go find a g clamp in my messy garage!
What happens if you took the brake lines off? |

because break lines are off ,when you connect back on you will need to bleed
