i have just bought some R D A Slotted Rotors and maxi stop brake pads front and rear. i wanted to know if they were any good or did i just waste my money. i have been told that the rda slotted rotors are as good as DBA's and the pads are as good as bendex ultimates has anyone used either of these or together. I have also just bought a EXEDY SPORTS TUFF clutch kit and was woundering the same is it better than a standard clutch or another waste of money?

I've just put on RDA Slotted with Bendix Advance pads. It stops heaps better than it used to. Only gripe is when cold, first lot of braking they are pretty crap. But they've probably only done 300kms so far :)

Blair - If you got it from Jeffro, you didn't waste your money

Yeah it's a good combo - heaps of members have that running gear and have no real problems (ok well maybe Mash85 had some problems....but that was probably no thanks to me )...You will notice a difference - less brake fade...they're a good package all-round IMHO.

Maxi stop pads are cheap nd nasty pads.I would go for the bendix or ferodo brands. You will find once you fit and bed in the maxi stop bads, you will have a bad feel of brake pedal noisey brakes. But RDA is good.At work we use and fit mostly Bendix or ferodo and we also stock Precision and Premium pads these last 2 brands sound cheap but they are of high quality very similar to Bendix pads.
