I've got a falcon diff with 3.46diff gears in it. and yes, 4.11 3.89:1 and 3.7:1 will all fit into EB2 onwards carriers

R31 diffs are one of the s**t out there, not only do all of them whine, they clunk like s**t too, and vibrate.
Plus with anything more than stock 250nm, they would end up a pile of chunks on the road at the first decent take off.
LSD ones cost as much as Falcon LSDs too!

Drive a R31 first to see how bad they are, then see if you still want one.

dont R31's use the R200 series diff? If so that means that all the skyline range of ratios and some silvia and 300zx gears should also fit right?

Also are you talking about the diff's whining because they are so old or because they are a poor design?

True listen to me as i was a skyline owner for last two years (saw the light back to fords) the diff in the skyline it was whining and every now and then daily driving it would shake like you could feel it if you had your hand on the console and that i used to hook along back and forth to my parents place(i live incentral west) doing 120ish and yeah i am glad i got rid of the skyline and yeah i am sure the diff would shat it self and i would of crashed majorly any whho, yeah the diffs in the skyline were a s**t design (and the exhaust manifold but that's another story)

as usual theres a lot of s**t being spoken here...

there is no problem using the diff gears from a R31....theyre borg warner 78 series as used in heap of aussie made cars (commodore skyline falcon)...

"anyting more than 250nm" CRAP!!! how do V8 and turbo commodores get by then with 400nm+

yes R31 diffs r known to whine - but they do not break!!

he only wants to use the gears so stop crapping on about irrelevent s**t..
