im not sure this is in the right place here but i was wondering if the wheelbase was a touch longer in the fairmont or fairmont ghia as opposed to the falcons in the EB series? and are the gear ratios longer to be more comfortable?...
i warned you it was a random question..lol |

No.....short wheel base is the Falcon/Fairmont sedan....... long wheel base are wagons, Fairlanes, LTD's, utes & vans (XF/XG/XH).

Typically, GLi sedans had 3.08 or 3.23/3.27, Fairmont and Fairmont Ghia had 3.27, some with LSD, and the XR6 had 3.45. The Fairlane had 3.27.
To be sure, you need to get under the back and have a look. BenJ
