Hey mate, not sure what model you are looking for, Ive used this one a few times tho, should be the same for EF aswell. I am assuming you mean EF/EL gearboxes cos you said Gli?

Really, there you go, I only ever had an EA and they were GL I thought. They must have changed to Gli with the 4.0L. Is it an EB series I or II, I am fairly sure series II had same ratio's as the EF/EL boxes, EA definately didn't though.

You've got 2 variants, W/C (EB2 onwards) and Non W/C ( EA). ratios are different between the 2, but same for model variants

I had a look through all the man gearbox parts listed for laste EB/ED and there is no difference in the 6cyl. The original part number for the complete box is the same and it was superceded to an EF/EL box part number. I can't see any ratio changes.

I'm pretty sure the only change between the EA/EB/ED t5 and EF/EL t5 was the bearing type.

Gearbox Ratios as following:

EB11 - EL

...............V8........I6
First.......2.95:1....3.25:1
Second...1.94:1....1.99:1
Third......1.34:1....1.29:1
Fourth....1.00:1....1.00:1
Fifth.......0.73:1....0.72:1
Reverse...2.76:1....3.15:1

There was a EB Sprint v8 Box that had a unique ratio:

First.......3.55:1
Second...1.99:1
Third......1.33:1
Fourth....1.00:1
Fifth.......0.73:1
Reverse...2.76:1

This is IIRC, was the only gearbox for recommended to use Shell XGO gear oil with a weight of 75/90.
All others state Dexron 11 with 150ml Lubrizol 7906

--------------------------------------------------
The following gearboxes were NON-WC boxes and had needle rollers and no reverse syncro (to slow the lay-shaft when engaging reverse)

XF-EA-EB1
4.1, 3.2 + 3.9ltr

First.......3.50:1
Second....2.14:1
Third......1.39:1
Fourth....1.00:1
Fifth.......0.78:1
Reverse...3.39:1
