There are many places online you can order DBA slotted rotors from or jsut call into any of your local AutoOne, Autopro, Supercheap Auto. They should have them there also.

when i got my rotors machiened i was talkin to the guy who owned the shop and asked him about DBA rotors cos i wos thinkin of getting them if my rotors where no good for machiening, anyway he recons that there is not that much difference between normal rotors and slotted rotors preformance wise the slotted rotor mite cool a little quicker. is it worth getting slotted rotors?? the bloke put some kind of speciel brake pads in my car, they feel a little spoungier and need a little more force on the pedel but i havent been able to overheat them, even when realy red hot they still manage to pull you up.

you won't find much of a difference with dba slotted if you just slam on your brakes once.....but because they cool quicker, you'll find a difference if you are stopping hard constantly.

The DBA rotors have a better ventilation system than the standard ones therefore they cool down faster.
When the pads are hot they can generate gasses that get trapped between the pad and the disk, reducing braking performance. The slots let these gasses escape. Additionally the slots dress the face of the pad keeping it clean and removing glazing. Slotted disks generally work better at higher speeds for a slight if any reduction in braking performance at lower speeds.

the dba slotted rotors will pay for the difference, as they don't over heat like standard rotors can so they don't warp easy= less machining.

I've also heard the RDA rotors are just as good as DBA ... and cheaper.
Might be on my list of future mods on the ute ... currently my stock brakes pull up nicely though ... but any improvement is welcome.

Fitting RDA Slotted discs this weekend and EBC Greenstuff pads.
Just painted the centres and calipers in VHT Bright Blue. Cam at Hitech Brakes was real helpful.
