my rear brakes when coming to a stop feel like there grabbing and letting go but just slightly suspect a prob with the abs. with that said i know my diff's very close to dieing any ideas what this could be any feedback would be great thanks [/i]

Diff could be locking up if it's on its way out maybe.

yeah i was thinking that i have a new diff (second hand from a wreckers) but have been to slack to get it in :?

The brake rotors could be warped too.

It is possible that you have warped rotors on the back, but from your description (and if you have LSD), I would say you have 'diff chatter'.

Pretty common in the LSD's and sounds and feels like a clunking from the back of the car.

Change of diff oil generally fixe's it. Otherwise you can get friction modifiers to limit the problem.... Can limit the effectiveness of the LSD too tho :-(

What makes you think your diff is on the way out? Is it noisy?

i had loud clunking arter an early morning sesh on the roundaboud at work an the sound wasent comeing from the auto so i put it down to the diff (its not a lsd just the stockko one wheeler on a live axle)
