Heat the bolt up a bit, then give it another bash. Might need to heat up rust to help loosen it.
Cheers ToranaGuy

Don't need an oxy, there are heat guns you can get that hook up to a normal lpg bbq bottle. That would probably do the job. I borrowed one from a mate to do a job with, gotta get me one of them, i reckon they are handy.... Cheers ToranaGuy

So the bolt doesn't rotate with a socket and T handle (with a piece of pipe to increase torque effort)???

yeah what snap said...
even if you lock two nuts against each other and swing off it with a good quality (so it don't break) spanner with pipe or socket with pipe to turn it in the spring to break rust away? Cheers, Tim

the nut is off the side the bolt should slide out you can still turn it with a socket but it does nothing. even with force applied to the end of it and someone using the ratchet.
you can also move the bolt side to side very slightly but no matter what we tried it didnt budge. thanks for all the replies.

Smack the eye of the spring with a good heavy hammer or mallet a few times. Then try remove the bolt.
Cheers ToranaGuy

Cheers ToranaGuy done that we smacked the crap out of it smacked the bolt with a jack handle, mallet etc leaving them in now only reason we were removing them is to swap them with the ones in my XG as they had been reset but i just put some 2.5 inch blocks in my ute so there not needed now. cheers for all the replies.
