You can use Vaseline or I used HTB, just make sure you don't get the HTB on the Rubbers.

Copper grease. Won't perish rubber boots and is temp stable to 800 C(your average car will get nowhere near this temp...). Called Copease and is a little tin with brush in the lid.

which of these would be best for me Sta lube or super lube for the brakes?

I use Super Lube......it will still protect the metal slide pins/sleeves, if the boots get torn through sloppy installation of the disc pads.
I haven't had any problems with it, hasn't made the boots swell or anything like that.
