im having a good run with my yokahama's , so is my dad he has teh c drives and they work fantastic. from my experience stay away from the cheap s**t like maxxis and sava's. i had maxxis and they were usless!!

i had bridgstone turanzas on my car, was very happy with them, very nice all round tyre. I now have yoko C drives. Happy, but not quite as much. They wear quickly too!!

I have Nexen 3000's on my 18's, and are pretty good. Just had a few days of rain here and i must say it was like driving in the dry, Only paid $115 for my 235.40.18'

i got hankook ventrus RS2's i think they seem to be good all round, heaps grippyin the wet and dry, werent cheap though,

The Yokahama C drives wear really quickly, my g/f's pulsar has a set of them on which are down to the tread wear indicators and have only done 28,000kms.

i have 16 x7 xr rims .got these just a few weeks ago .
sava intenza(sp) 225/50/16 up front & federal 595 245/50/16 on the rear . went out in the heavy rain the last few days, i was more than happy with the rear grip . 
didnt realy push the front ..

ive got bridgestone potenzas. i know they were second hand when they were put on, so not sure how many kays they've done all up. but ive done 20 000 on em and they still look really good.
good grip in both wet and dry

I've had Yokohama's before, there good when new but are soft & wear very quickly..
Bridgestone Turanza's are really good.. I can't remember what my EF came with, but there made by Hancook & seem to be pretty good so far..

two tyres that I know are good are the bridgestone turanza 592 or federal. Both very worthy tyres with good life

yeah adam, mattronics got it for me, the yokos wear quickly.
And also, a few of you are talking well of the hankooks, maybe they have got their s**t together, but we had em on the old girls daewoo a few years back and they ended up bubbling and going out of round after not very many kays. We could only assume cause of the "heat" in the far north... which aint really all that hot. |

As i have said before tyres that give good value for money are bridgestone or federal. Now these are good value for money tyres and handel well for the average 20 something driver who thinks they go faster than they really do. Honestly if you want a tyre that will grip, it has to wear faster with a softer rubber compound. Therfore if you want to go around corners like your on rails and dont mind a little extra grip as a substition for shorter tread life go for the yokohama.

Marshal Power Racer 2's, they are bloody nuts. good wear, good grip dry and wet......... yeah
have them on my car  nuts as, only down side is the wait to get them, few weeks wait at tyrepower as they have to ship em in.... but yeah, well worth it
