hi can you redrill the flywheel from a ea 3 bolt clutch to a suit ef/el 6 bolt clutch thanks

You can, but the existing 3 holes won't line up to any of the 6 bolt P/P holes, meaning the P/P needs to be rotated to redrill all 6 holes, and of course the P/P needs to be true centred - if you need to get a machine shop to do it, you'll find it more cost effective to get a 2nd hand 6 bolt flywheel, and get it machined - they'll replace the 3 dowels also.

I redrilled and tapped my flywheel to siut later 6 bolt pressure plates.
Its all good, no probs.

But CJH, your a professional with access to suitable equipment. Surely picking up a used f/wheel for touching up would be a most cost effective, no risk and simple solution?
