Hey guys, quick question to save me buying a workshop manual for 1 thing.
I replaced my 4 speed auto with one that doesnt have a dipstick hole in it. I filled up the box up when I put it in before using it and I want to check it again tonight to make sure the fluid level is okay. Should I check it when hot or cold? |

Hot.
if the car hasnt been run the fluid pools in the pan, as soon as you undo the filler hole you'll cop fluid (workshop manual just suggests a 5min drive then a chance for it to cool a bit)
