Quick question for those in the know. What is the easiest way to remove a speed sensor and gear from a BTR in an EF 4.0l.

Car is in the drive with no access to a hoist, doesn't run, just parts car. Need to remove sensor for a mate.

Will help me also as I need to change my speedo geank ar to a 3:45 from a 3:23 as well but I can get access to a hoist for that unless there is an easy way.

Thanks guys. All advice as well as sarcasm welcomed.

How the bloody hell do you get your hands up there. Do you drop the rear Gearbox mount and let the rear hang a bit?

I suppose you can, but I've never had to.
You could ask the big fella to get you a spare speed sensor for the meantime . . .

Big Fella also had to drop the rear cross member for access.

And that 8mm bolt is really long too LOL

Cheers
