Make sure the tranny cooler lines are flushed/blown out.....maybe fit an auxillary tranny cooler if it hasn't one already.

I would replace the engine rear main seal as the auto has to come out to access it.

yes, undo the 4 bolts holding the torque converter to the flex plate, this way the converter can stay in the box and the box will come out easy

Plugs out, so there is no compression, socket onto the Crank Bolt, breaker bar onto the socket and rotate. Bring it around until you can get to the other bolts.

rotate the engine with a socket on the front crank bolt or you can use a big screwdriver in the ring gear teeth to lever and rotate it..

gearbox got put in fluids topped up to where they should be .. took it for a test drive around the block was running mint put my foot down and it would kick revs up and take off how it should but then later on in the night when i went to plant foot it wouldnt kick the revs up and take off it would just stay at the same revs and slowly creeps up to speed its got no power anymore the engine got quite hot in the night to and also the speedo wasnt reading but at first test drive it was sweet dont know what the problem is does anyone know of what this could be ?

check the speedo sender in the box, make sure its pluged in properly..
if its fine, remove the sender and check the gear on the sender..

no speedo reading from gearbox will put the gearbox into limp home mode, locked in 3rd gear...

yea, the speedo sender (transducer actually) is held into the extension housing by a small bolt, its a bit tight but you can get to it without removing box..

but I would check the plug connection first
