hi there have au 2 tickford xr6 ute, 5 speed,
and was wondering how hard it is to change the clutch on one of thse heavy buggers lol any advice, i have mechanical skills, but being a clutch its a very important thing to get right, much messing about underneath by the sounds u dont need to remove the gearbox cause the tailshaft comes off then the manual says taking the cover off the clutch and pulling it off and nothing about the gearbox any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Um, i reckon if you dont think the box has to be touched, you are not fit for this job.
You'll find that the clutch sits in the front, or "bell housing" of the gearbox, and clearly needs to be removed to get at it.

oh ok, cause the gregorys manual has vague info about it like pictures and so fourth so yeh,
might get a pro thank u
