tried burning but didn't work.

if i had to do it again i would still buy the bushes and fit them myself rather than spend the extra $100odd on replacement arms.

easiest way i found was to drill a hole through the rubber with a 10mm drill bit. pull hacksaw apart, feed blade through the drilled hole, do hacksaw back up and cut through the metal outer casing. the width of the blade is enough to take the pressure off and it will just fall out once you are through. care must be taken when cutting so as not to damage the arm itself.

to press the new ones in you need a good strong vice.

quite easy once we'd figured it out.

a month or 2 on and i'm very happy.

How about that, only three days ago i removed the bush from my gearbox extension housing in exactly that same manner. Now i need to get a new one in.

why not just go to supercheap and buy the cheap 6T press? under $100. I did every bush in my whole car, front to back. I wont buy Nolathane agian, Three times i had to go back to the auto parts store as they had put the wrong bushes in the wrong packet. Correct part number, wrong bushes. idiots. You spend $500 + on bushes you would expect to get the right s**t.
