I know king springs sell lowered leafs for around $300 a set.. thats a bit steep. I'm in Perth and I'd love to find someone that I can pay cash to reset the existing ones... or get me some lowered ones cheap.

Leaf springs, there still springs. Leaf springs. Sedans use Coil Springs. But the utes and wagons sure as f**k still have springs, leaf springs.

For $250.00 you mmight aswell rather get some brand new Kiing Spring lowered leaf springs.

try liverpool springs in moorebank, see archie down there, you will have to pull them out yourself and drop em off to him, but he had mine done in around 2 1/2 hours (reset both springs and one extra leaf each side aswell) for around the 160 mark (was a while ago though) and that is to whatever height you want. if you get the extra leaves as well you will have a much better handling ute and never have axle tramp again.

cheers Rob.

Might have to do the ring around in Perth to find the same kinda deal. Are they easy enough to take off yourself?

yeah easy as, just undo the u bolts around the diff and the bolts front and back, drop em out and take em somewhere. a lot of places that do truck suspension will do car leaves, and they dont charge as much as car places do.
