Is there a difference in diffs of non ABS equipped EA and ABS equipped EB, other than centres and ratios?
What i mean is, the EF diff is different to EA,EB and ED because of handbrake position, is there a similar difference in the ABS setup?
Thanks

the abs use a reluctor ring on the end of the axles for the abs and the axle housing has the abs sensor holes

from experience, i honestly reckon the ABS in early cars (such as eb-ed) is crap! imho, i wouldn't worry going through the hassle of converting it to ABS...

Just to compare, drive an eb/ed with abs, then hop into a later car such as VZ or BA/BF. The difference is just amazing.

meh - dodgy suppliers :P nah it was all easy enough really, swap over the loom and brake lines, then just fit everything.

how is that even a fair comparison??? Why not compare the efficiency of the air conditioning system in an EA over a BF? Of course the difference will be amazing.

ABS in the EF is quite well designed for the EF - if you want to put it in, it isn't hard. I'll help where I can and you can even put some doco together!
