whats the largest size i could go on my AU without having to have anything done tro my suspension etc 18" or 19" |

assuming that you want to put a set of wheels on your AU without doing anything else... just the wheels/tyres straight on... 18inch is probably the best way to go.
that's all i wanted at one stage - just the wheels/tyres, nothing else. guy tried to sell me a set of 19s, came back to me and suggested other things on top etc. etc. so i said take them off, im not buying wheels off you. they'll sell you whatever they're trying to push out of the stock room. unless you trust the company, dont go in completely clueless, and dont leave every suggestion up to them. if you "think" 17s, you'll end up with 18s or 19s, if you "think" you want 19s, they'll push you into 20. been there a million times before... i've got an au aswell. my opinion - 18 inch. choose a good design. some wheel designs make the rim look smaller than it is, and others give the impression that they are bigger. go for a spoke-ish look in 18s rather than a full-on chrome rim that you'd find on a chrysler 300c or a bmw 7 series. they'll make it look ridiculous. ky |
