hey peeps
i have a 89 fairmont ghia. just serviced it all with new leads, plugs etc. now went and had to tow my brothers lil excel on a trailer back to parents house, and now when its in drive, or reverse its really rough and stuttery. Have i gone and cooked the 3 speed? thanks lynx

lol im a tard. was checking the engine bay over, and when i revved the engine some exhaust gas blew past the manifold gasket, so ive found the problem.
sounds good though, if it werent for the lack of power down low

ok im not a tard. has been a lil while since that last post. replaced cat and all exhaust gaskets, cleaned isc, swapped MAP sensors, changed to a newer o2 sensor, and my car is still idleing and revving like shyte. im starting to get really annoyed now.
what else could it be? injecters, coil dying? gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr bloody ea

Go for the obvious mate. What did you do... Plugs and leads, Recheck them first, make sure plugs are correct type and gaps are right, check leads are on all the way and you haven't burnt out an end by not clipping on right. and don't assume that because they're new that they can't be stuffed. after that, check dissy cap and rotor.. but my guess is you'll find it before that.
