I'd have to spend $5000 or more to get a GQ, plus the running costs. The offroad mods to my falcon will be in the order of a few hundred for hub adapters plus whatever i do to the rear axle = much less. I already had tyres for it. If i had a conventional falcon, my modded falcon, and a maverick at my disposal, i reckon i would drive the conventional falcon less than 1% of the time, and the maverick about 5 to 10% of the time. All the other time i would drive the EBoffroader. Which, i might add, is yet to hit the road, but will be soon. It will be better off road than the XG, shorter wheelbase, slightly more flexible suspension, better visibility, more ground clearance. But the XG can take bigger wheels.

At a guess a watts link mount could be added by a competent fabricator, even if the hat needs reinforcement or other modifications. This could be done at the same time as the other welding work would be done, talking spring seats, link brackets, etc. Or maybe the E-series hat can be modified and fitted?
It would seem a good idea for Ford to put the e-locker in the 2wd territory as well . . . IRS . . . but i'm not aware of that being done unfortunately. Info on the swappability of the centres and axles would be good.

I mean, I cover a lot of rural km's in a year. By that, I'm talking B&S's, Deni Ute Muster, etc. Do any of you ever wonder about what could happen if you put your streeter on these gravel roads out in the bush?
