hey all
i want to attempt the solenoid trick where you cut the s3 and s4 solenoid wires at the ecu harness and earth them with a resistor .. i found it in a post by 'turbotrana' ford-turbo-supercharger-f22/btr-4-speed-with-boost-t64809.html?hilit=btr 4 speed with boost&start=20 ( page 2 scoll down) anyways i want to do this mod but am unsure of the wires, are they the same wires, when installing a shift kit ( 71 and 81), i have a shift kit installed i pm 'turbotrana ' but no reply yet any info or help would be good cheers corey

if you have fitted the shiftkit, then go to the 30 odd page thread about shiftkits, and somewhere in there some info on swapping the resistors to make the shifts even firmer
