Priced the Damper soleniod (S5) for my EL as its starting to shift hard between 1st and 2nd. Called up Ford mainly for the part# as i have a mate that works at Bosch, anyways Ford wanted $464.00 and thats trade!!! i sure wont be going through Fraud....

iirc auto shop sells em for around $300 retail


as for ford ripping ppl off hows this...

had car at ford few yrs back for new BCM, over heard
service dude tell lady was 1k yup 1k to supply and fit thermo fans to ef/el!!!!

Would i be right saying that Ford only wants the servicing work and spares rather than repairs.... I have a mate at work thats got a new one sitting in his shed, thanks for all the offers.
