needed some new tyres for the frontof my car the other day and was sick of spending a lot of money on tyres that wear quickly (because of crap wheel alignments) any way got the cheapest tyre i could the SAVA INTENSA, 225/50/R16 for $135ea. to my suprise these cheap tyres are actualy pretty good! sit nicely on the road at speeds over 100km/h and conering is very good. my verdict is if you want a good preforming tyre without the high cost of one this is the tyre.

i found it to be the best tyre out of the previous that i have had on my car.

Toyo transpath SW
handcook K102
Yokahama S306
Dunlop SP 3000

the sava intensa was orginal produced in solvania by g/year who bought out the plant and invested 20mil to upgrade the equipment. labout was dirt cheap so you got an excellent product for the cheaper $$. They are now made also in aust and nz using the same mould. The only thing is that they aren't high kms should pull up at around 25000kms , 30 if you look after them.

I used to run dunlop w-1 then w-10 then dunlop fm901 (fantastic but superceeded) now g/year f1 gsd-3 with silca as oppsed to the old gsd-2.

I got the 17s on my car, They are cheap, ok grip. I feel they could provide more grip when cornering, i've had a few high speed drifts with lots of understeer from time to time

Yeah... not bad for the price IMO. The rears tend to have a pretty rough time so im not forking out 3-400 a corner any time soon.... smoke em if you got em.
