Anyone know a good place around campbelltown/liverpool area to get a ute very, very lowered? Aiming for the guard to sit just over the tyre on 19"s.
Thanks fellas.

I had my Faimont lowered last week at Campbelltown and can highly reccommend these guys, BUdget Wheels & Tyres, Unit 1, 63 Blaxland Rd Campbelltown, Phone 02 4627 7866 or 02 4627 7966 and ask for Mike Saleh. He will see you right.

Went to Budget. Real nice guy and some very sweet wheels but his suggestion was to just reset the springs and make it as low as i wanted.
Spoke to a heap of other suspension guys and they all recomended to not get it re-set due to problems with the springs and ride after it was done.

If you're going to be that low anyway, don't even bother thinking about handling..

Just an insight into leaf springs... lol. Basically if you just reset it, or use lowering blocks, the ride softness will be s**t, as will the handling, if you do reset them, get an extra leaf(or two), on each side.
I personally got new superlows king springs for the back (leafs), and stuck a 2.5" lowering block on top of that. Now a 15" sits almost at the guard at the back with no wieght, and the front is another story lol(tyre under guard). Cheers

oh yeah.. sorry.. forgot it was a commodore.
Resetting coils isn't the best option either lol. Easier and safer to just buy a new set (or a second hand one), and stick those in. Aftermarket springs are much stiffer, and the car feels alot safer with stiffer springs at a low ride height. Cheers
