talking EF boxes (model name?)
r the adjustments on the outside or do u have to drop the pan? how many bands r there to adjust? is the ford repair manual worth getting if im going to try my own adjustments?

i have been told not to adjust the bands.
the adjustment for 1 i think is outside but u need a tool to do it the gearboxes need to be serviced every 40000kms and a full flush every100000kms

The only adjustments on 4 speed transmissions is done inside the box with shims and NOT recommended unless you REALLY know what you are doing.

the eb2 trans that ive got here has the adjusters on the outside...the ef doesnt..
it doesnt look like it needs any special tool (just a spanner) for the eb2 box....the ef i have no idea, havnt taken the pan off yet...
