Hey guys, looked under the car while it was idling to find one of those rattles and noticed my clutch fork looks like its having an epileptic fit. Is this normal? Seems to be mainly vertical shakes. Its an old ea clutch sitting under an ef.

I use an EA clutch and flywheel in my ED.....I just drilled and tapped 3 more holes in the flywheel. Those other holes around the outside are factory.....it was from an 88 model EA......no idea why they are there.....maybe for a V8 ????

Thanks mate I think the clutch may be on the way out, cable needs tightening to keep the clutch engaging. I will replace the clutch etc.
Thanks for the tip on drilling the 3 extra holes...I was just on the prowl for a new flywheel since I'll be changing the clutch |

My belief is if a clutch cover that only needs 3 bolts to work, can only be better by fitting an extra 3 bolts.......just a thought.
