Just wondering what could be wrong with my EA as when the car is moving slow when you turn the steering wheel you get a shudder in the steering I had a look at the car and found that the steering rack had a fair bit of movement in it so I replaced the bushes with Nolathane ones but it still didn't fix it what else could be wrong with it.

when does it do it mate if under braking conditions rotors could be warped(reasonably common) another problem could be that your tyres are out of balance or loose suspension. it wouldnt hurt to go over the car and tighten all suspension nuts and bolts

i would suggest flushing out the power steering fluid, usually this causes the rack to shudder when turning slow.

try turning the wheel when not driving, if it shudders then its the rack or power steering pump. if it does it whilst driving it could be a range of things from rack ends to warped rotors.
